I wonder how many had the opportunity to participate
on 10 meters this past weekend.
Speaking of the 10-10 Contest, I tuned in on Saturday
afternoon to see what activity I could hear.
From one end of the band to the other, there was
quiet static and.......Power Line Noise!
By the way, we've been in contact with the power
company since January about the noise
being especially heavy on 6 meters.
Nothing has been changed yet.
This actually makes for another future entry
in the blog on Power Line Interference
on Amateur Bands.
Meanwhile, like I said earlier...
10 meters = this... ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
A mild disappointment for a kind of new HF'er here.
I hope some others got to have fun though.
